Inspiration Avenue...Owl Inspired Challenge...Hoot! Hoot!

Jumping in to the the weekly challenge over at Inspiration Avenue
Inspired by the word prompt "OWL". . . one of my fave themes!
So I pulled out my box of art card blanks to create a fun little owl doodle ACEO.  A pencil sketch then a few Sharpie marker doodle details and finally ready for the close up of the pops of color!

What an adorable owl. When I first read it was a doodle, I couldn't believe it. You make terrific doodles! Great colors and a fantastic take on this IA theme.

He's definitely cute!...I really like the way you use your Sharpie first, when the painting is complete it adds so much to the overall look....this is a technique I will try out at some time...thank you Joni for the inspiration!

This has to be one of the cutest little owls I've ever seen. Very sweet little fellow. I enjoy your dark hues and the wonderful expressions of your characters. :)
